The campground is located along the Ontonagon River, which is a popular spot for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. To get to Sparrow Rapids Campground, take Highway M-28 to Kenton, MI, and then turn onto Forest Road 2200. Follow Forest Road 2200 for about 8 miles until you reach the campground. The road is unpaved but is in good condition and is suitable for most vehicles.
